The brief story of Messageries Dynamiques
The story began in 1964 with the establishment of a newspaper delivery service to retailers and quickly progressed to magazine distribution.
For more than 50 years, Messageries Dynamiques, a leader in magazine and newspaper distribution, has been travelling the roads of Quebec to bring together the passion of publishers and readers.
By constantly working hard and investing in technological innovation, Messageries Dynamiques has become the leading publication distribution company in Quebec.
Messageries Dynamiques is a division of Quebecor Media Group.
Messageries Dynamiques today
In 2023, Messageries Dynamiques distributed 53.8 million copies of newspapers, including Le Journal de Montréal, Le Journal de Québec and Le Devoir. It also distributed 18.8 million magazines on newsstands, comprising more than 2,645 titles, including the popular 7 Jours, La Semaine, Allô Vedettes, Ricardo, Coup de pouce, Châtelaine as well as the French magazines Paris Match and Science & Vie.
Messageries Dynamiques also manages certain Quebecor call centres. It handles over 4,000 calls per week for Quebecor’s newspaper customers and 600 calls for TVA Publications magazine subscribers.
Since 2020, Messageries Dynamique has introduced more than 300 new products for supermarkets, convenience stores and pharmacies.
In 2020, Messageries Dynamiques developed a new subscription management software for magazines. Over 300,000 subscribers are currently hosted by this new system.
The year 2025 marked a major turning point in the history of Distributions Dynamiques.
As the company celebrated its 60th anniversary, a significant expansion of its operations and a greater diversification of its services led to a major transformation of its identity.
In April 2025, Messageries Dynamiques became Distributions Dynamiques. A new name, along with an updated logo, was adopted to reflect this evolution. This change symbolizes a company firmly focused on the future, while remaining true to the strong foundations that built its success.
